Silvering Precious Metals LLC and Soothing Coin as major and minor owners of AltcoinN https://altcoinn.com announced staking program for STHC.

  1. AltcoinN accepts STHC as investing currency at 0.02 USD/STHC starting on 1st of October 2020
  2. Investing limits and the STHC value for interest calculation are updated monthly.
  3. Minimum investment is 50,000 STHC (worth 1000 USD as of 1st October 2020)
  4. Maximum investment is 100,000 STHC (worth 2000 USD as of 1st October 2020)
  5. Every investor can invest only one time, because the investment process requires filling out a Google form and KYC on https://soothing.cash.
  6. Interest rate as of 1st October 2020 is 3% annually (investing time 1-5 year).
  7. Payout every 6 months in BTC or ETH.

Interest calculation:

The monthly interest is calculated with the following formula:

          Investment amount * STHC value * annual interest rate / 12

STHC value is measured in USDT and is the average USDT/STHC exchange rate during the month.

For example, suppose in a particular 30-day month, STHC exchange rate is 0.2 USDT for 15 days and is 0.1 USDT for the other 15 days, the STHC value (i.e. average USDT/STHC exchange rate) is (0.2 + 0.1) / 2 = 0.15 USDT. For a 100,000 STHC investment, the interest of the month is 100,000 * 0.15 * 0.03 / 12 = 37.5 USDT.

Promotional Interest calculation:

During the promotion period (end date TBD), STHC value is fixed as 0.02 USDT. Given that the current exchange rate of STHC is between 0.0015 and 0.0035 USDT, the actual interest rate is far more than 3%. More precisely, the actual interest rate is between 17% and 40% !!! (That is because 0.02 / 0.0035 * 3% ~= 17% and 0.02 / 0.0015 * 3% ~= 40%)
